There is a crack in everything. That’s how the light gets in. — Leonard Cohen
Daily Inspiration
We spend years trying to seal the cracks — patching ourselves up, pretending we’re whole, polishing the mask until it shines.
Sometimes it’s the cracks that save us.
They’re where the light sneaks through. The moments when we finally admit, I’m not okay. The conversations with a mate or partner we didn’t mean to have but desperately had to. The days we let the façade slip and found we weren’t alone after all.
If your camera’s become a mask, put it down.
Pick up the phone.
Let someone help carry the weight for a while — you don’t have to haul it alone.
There’s always someone who’ll take a share of the load. You just have to let them.
Let the light in.
